DOYLESTOWN, PA – May 10, 2013 – MKJ Creative, a full-service print and digital graphic design studio, was recently honored by Graphic Design USA with a coveted 2013 American Web Design Award. MKJ Creative received winner-recognition for their Company Website, which was redesigned in March 2013.
Graphic Design USA is a veteran industry magazine for creative professionals, and an organizer of design competitions that spotlight areas of growth and opportunity for the creative community. The American Web Design Awards is their annual showcase of the power of design to enhance websites and online communications. They aim to provide long-deserved recognition to award-winning creatives.
“Being recognized by this award is an honor. I’ve always believed that here at MKJ, we hire great designers from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, who do the best work and produce amazing results,” remarked Jen Whitesell, MKJ Creative’s owner and creative director. “We are very proud of our new site, and thrilled that Graphic Design USA acknowledged our ideas and abilities.”
For the second time in a row, MKJ earned this top honor in the Company Website category for its redesign of their website. MKJ’s previous company website also received this award in 2010. The user-friendly site launched in March 2013, makes a big impact through bold photography and a new brand designed to reflect 10 years in business. It also features a parallax navigation system, which allows visitors to navigate the site by scrolling down.
Whitesell believes that earning this recognition reflects MKJ’s success as a leader within the digital design industry. Under her creative direction, MKJ Creative has had the privilege of designing for a host of industries including the life sciences, healthcare, community development finance institutions, the arts, and clients such as Pennsylvania Bio, Opportunity Finance Network, and Doylestown based Baylin Artists Management. Whitesell has touted building MKJ from the ground up using only the most innovative practices from design studios at which she previously worked. Now, the company is on track to surpass their forty-percent growth in 2012, support their long-term relationships, and continue the development of high-yielding, performance campaigns, all on their own unique terms.
