A Process for Design that Works

We speak with people on a regular basis who are curious to know about the process of design at MKJ Creative.  While our process is outlined on our website here, we thought it would be fun to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the process of design for a recent postcard for Opportunity Finance Network’s national conference.

MKJ Creative has partnered with Opportunity Finance Network since 2005 to design the annual conference brand and this year’s concept was “Out of Many, Comes One” from the latin, E Pluribus Unum. The final design incorporates this concept and also gives a nod to the 2013 Philadelphia location.

Below are concept boards that were presented to Opportunity Finance Network’s team and in them, MKJ incorporated amazing design elements borrowed from other creative forces in order to communicate the style, color, or direction for each creative vision. Click to enlarge the images below.

Opportunity Finance Network chose the final design below for the conference brand and postcard. Postcards are in the mail and MKJ looks forward to attending the conference this year as sponsors.  Hope to see you there!
